Craig is a University of Toronto undergraduate student completing his 4 th year of honour’s Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and psychology. After finishing his studies, Craig plans on completing a teaching degree and working in either the elementary or high school system.
Craig joined the Durham Dragons in 2000 while attending Dunbarton high school and competed at several provincial and national events for the club in track and cross-country. He is also in his 3 rd year of competition for U of T on the track as well as being a member of the university golf team for 3 seasons. The highlight of his varsity track career was representing U of T in his first year, at the Canadian Interuniversity Sport Championships in the 4X800 relay. While he competes from 800 meters up to 10,000 meters, his races of choice are the 1500 and 3000 meter.
Craig began coaching with the club in 2005 and loves developing athletes from a young age. As a middle and long distance youth development coach, his emphasis is on making running/competing enjoyable and safe for all athletes.
